Our mission is to maintain our level of care and customer service while keeping our entire Alpine Haus Family Safe. We will follow all Reopen CT State Guidelines to ensure the safety of your family and ours.

Store Safety

What measures have you taken during this time to ensure safety?

We have followed all reopening plans put into action by the State of Connecticut. We will reduce our capacity by 50% and sanitize surfaces regularly. We have installed plexiglass by the counters to limit contact. There will also be visual markers on the floor to ensure social distancing. We have also instituted a one-way policy in our store. There will be two separate doors for entry and exit. There will be increased cleaning and stations marked 6 feet apart. All employees will be in PPE to ensure their safety and yours. Additionally, boot fitting will be by appointment only.

Will employees be wearing masks?

All of our employees will be wearing masks. We encourage all customers to wear masks as well for the protection of our employees and yourselves.

Season Leases

Can I just keep my season lease until next year?

No. Please return your leased equipment by July 3rd and follow the cleaning instruction below.

What is the latest date I can return my season leases?

July 3rd is our target date to have all season Lease equipment returned so that we may have enough time to clean and recondition the equipment. With that, we are aware of certain situations that may not make that deadline an option. In those cases, we ask that you reach out to us directly so we may discuss options: info@alpinehaus.com.

What do I do with my Season Leases?

Please return your children’s season leases beginning May 20th. Please bring your season lease agreement to expedite the process. Additionally, Alpine Haus will not accept any gear that has not been thoroughly disinfected prior to dropping it off. Alpine Haus will also disinfect all boot liners again to ensure extra safety measures.

How do I return my season leases?

There will be an option for curbside drop off if you do not want to enter the building. We will have a rack outside to place your skis in and a shelf to drop your boots. We will then have a sales rep pull your paperwork and bring you a receipt to show you returned your lease. Please bring your season lease agreement paperwork to expedite the process.

How should I disinfect my season leases?

We recommend spraying the boots with Lysol and wiping the outside with a disinfectant. Clean all mud off skis and use sanitizing wipes to clean them.

How will the curbside drop off & pick-up work?

Drop off CURBSIDE: You will have the option to pull up and never enter the building. We will have a rack to place your skis in and a shelf to drop your boots. We will then have a sales rep pull your paperwork and bring you a receipt to show you returned your lease.
PICK UP: Any pre-purchased item will be left on a table for a scheduled time that day. The bag will be tagged with your name and include a receipt.

Shop & Fittings

What if I want to purchase gear?

At this time, you will be able to shop for gear, however boot fitting will be by appointment only. Please also keep in mind the dressing rooms will not be available.

What is your return policy at this time?

Due to the risk to our staff and customers, all sales are final. We will not be accepting any returns at this time.
