We had no idea what to expect when we first clicked into the new Armada Stranger, it?s kind of a weird looking ski and seems like it?s trying to be a lot of things at once. Well, I can confidently say that it?s a ski that can absolutely rip. It feels like a freestyle ski somewhere in its bones, but it rails a turn when you get it on edge better than any ?freestyle? ski you?ve ever been on. If freestyle meets carving sounds like an impossible blend to pull off, I thought the same thing before skiing these; seriously though, it?s a really versatile, really impressive ski to behold.
